When Indian luger Shiva Keshavan crashed and nearly fell off his sled during a practice run on Friday morning, he made an astonishing recovery that you’ll have to see to believe.

Keshavan briefly lost control and flipped onto his stomach, but he managed to flip himself back over and remain on his sled, all while moving at 70 mph.

The record-setting Olympian has represented India in four Olympic games since his debut in 1998 in Nagano, Japan. At 16 years old, he was the youngest man ever to qualify for the Olympic luge competition.

Now 32, Keshavan is not representing India in Sochi. He is instead acting as an Independent Olympic Participant due to tense relations between the International Olympic Committee and the Indian Olympic Association, per NDTV Sports.
