The St. Louis Blues took a 2-0 lead in Thursday’s game against the Boston Bruins when Jaden Schwartz scored on B’s goalie Tuukka Rask with a powerful wrist shot.
A poor line change put the Bruins in a bad spot as Schwartz and the Blues entered the offensive zone. Two St. Louis players drove hard to the net, creating enough room for Schwartz to unleash a wrist shot on Rask, using Boston defenseman Kevan Miller as a screen.
The Blues took a 2-0 advantage into the third period.
