Now, Faisal Karameh, Lebanon’s Sport and Youth minister, has ordered an investigation into the video and photos that came from the Olympic skier’s shoot after video of it appeared on the Internet, The Associated Press reported.

“(It) wasn’t supposed to go public,” Chamoun wrote on Facebook. “I know that Lebanon is a conservative country, and this is not the image that reflects our culture. I fully understand if you want to criticize this.”

Just one of two Olympic athletes representing her country, Chamoun says the photo shoot was for an Austrian ski calendar. She is asking that the video and photos not be shared so she can continue to focus on the Olympics.

“It is sad,” Chamoun’s Facebook post said. “All I can ask to each of you who saw this, is to stop spreading it, it will really help me focusing on what is really important now: my trainings and race.”
