American bobsledder Lolo Jones had to deal with a bout of illness before her competition in Sochi.

Jones tweeted Monday that she had just been released from a quarantine room in the Olympic Village, and U.S. bobsled spokeswoman Amanda Bird confirmed Jones exhibited cold and flu symptoms, according to The Associated Press.
