New York Knicks guard Raymond Felton was arraigned on felony gun charges and released on bail Tuesday, just in time for him to make an appearance in the Knicks’ Thursday matchup against the Miami Heat.
Knicks coach Mike Woodson said Wednesday that Felton will suit up Thursday.

Felton practiced with the Knicks on Wednesday ahead of the team’s trip to South Beach and said his recent troubles won’t be a distraction.
“This is not a distraction to this team,” Felton said in a statement after practice, via the New York Daily News. “You know, I’m focusing on finishing out this season, finishing out these games with my teammates and going down to Miami and focusing on this next game at task, versus the defending champs.”
Felton was arrested early Tuesday morning in New York City after his estranged wife turned a gun into police that she said belonged to the Knicks guard. Felton was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second, third and fourth degrees. After his arraignment Tuesday, Felton stands charged with two counts — criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and criminal possession of a firearm, according to Yahoo! Sports.
The former is a Class D felony that carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison, while the latter is a Class E felony that carries a maximum sentence of four years in prison.
Felton is due back in court June 2.
