The New Hampshire Wildcats used a three-goal first period to top the Boston University Terriers on Friday.
Although the Terriers kept themselves in the game, tallying a goal in each period, UNH was able to hang on for the conference victory. Matt Willows potted two goals for the Wildcats while Eric Knodel and Dan Correale chipped in with one apiece. With the win, UNH moves into a tie with Maine for third place in the Hockey East standings, trailing only Boston College and UMass Lowell.
