Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart shoved a fan in the waning seconds of Saturday night’s 65-61 loss at Texas Tech.
With six seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, the Cowboys were down by three when Smart went flying into the stands after making a block. As he stumbled to regain his balance, a man in the crowd appeared to have said or done something that prompted Smart to lose his composure.
Before heading back onto the court, Smart turned around, confronted the man and proceeded to push the man in the stands before his teammates came over and removed him from the situation.
The All-American guard was immediately issued a technical foul, but he will likely face much stiffer discipline from the NCAA in the coming days.
