Hockey players get pretty amped up before games, but sometimes that’s just not enough. Sometimes, you need to go to the smelling salts.
Team USA forward Phil Kessel is someone who dabbles in the smelling salts, and he went back to that well prior to the Americans’ bronze medal matchup with Finland on Saturday at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Kessel’s reaction to the salts was priceless.
Of course, just about anyone’s reaction to smelling salts tends to be hilarious, but for some reason, Kesesel’s reaction is just a little bit funnier.Â
