Patrice Bergeron got the scoring rolling for the Boston Bruins on Saturday afternoon.
The Team Canada forward showed the Ottawa Senators that he’s more than ready for the Olympics, netting the first goal of the game using hustle, speed and some nifty stickwork. Bergeron beat a trio of Senators players in a race to the front of the net and with only one hand, he was able to get his stick on the puck.
Bergeron quickly corralled the bouncing puck, regained control and swatted it past Craig Anderson to give the B’s an early lead.
Check out the nice play in the video above.
