aaron-hernandez2Connecticut police have charged a man in connection with the shooting of an Aaron Hernandez associate.

Leslie Randolph, 29, has been arrested and charged with felony assault and gun crimes, Hartford police announced Wednesday. Randolph’s arrest is connected to the Sunday night incident at a Hartford, Conn., nightclub where a man associated with Hernandez, Alexander Bradley, was shot in the leg. Bradley also is being held on $1 million bail for firing rounds into the nightclub.

Bradley is suing Hernandez, saying Hernandez shot him in the eye and dumped him in the street outside a Miami club last year. Police also suspect Bradley was with Hernandez on the night of a double murder in Boston in 2012.

Hernandez is in Bristol County Jail after being charged with first-degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd.
