Kris Humphries, DeMarcus CousinsBoston Celtics fans should be able to keep up with Kris Humphries for the rest of the season.

The well-traveled and well-paid big man is likely to finish the season in Boston, as the Celtics’ brass has had no discussions about buying him out, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports. Humphries is due $12 million by the time the season is over, so there was speculation after he was not moved at Thursday’s trade deadline that the Celtics might try to save some money by offering him a buyout.

Instead, it looks as though the Celtics like Humphries enough to keep him through the end of the season — and possibly beyond.

Humphries began the season at the end of coach Brad Stevens’ bench but gradually worked his way into the rotation. He has started the last two games for the Celtics in place of Jared Sullinger, who is dealing with post-concussion symptoms. Humphries has averaged 7.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game this season while shooting 50 percent from the field.
