Sochi Olympic Housing Problems Include Bad Water, Tacky Decor (Photos)

SochiThe Sochi Winter Olympics are by far the most expensive Olympic Games yet, but try telling incoming guests that. Athletes and reporters staying in and around the Olympic Village haven’t been impressed with the less-than-lavish accommodations.

With the opening ceremony just hours away, people are quickly descending on Sochi. Some are enjoying better living conditions than others, though, and many reporters have taken to social media to display just how primitive the hotels are.

There have been some hilarious — and some gross — reports of the conditions so far. From a lack of shower curtains to dirty water to beds that are made for very small competitors, athletes and reporters alike should have an interesting stay in Sochi.
