The Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled their new logo and helmet design Thursday night on NFL Network.

The helmet features gray as the primary color and a logo that is similar but larger than the one used for many years. The helmet also has a chrome face mask, which provides a sleek, modern look.

The Bucs have done well designing jerseys and logos throughout their 38-year history. In fact, the team’s old orange uniforms and first logo make its throwback apparel very popular among fans. But it never hurts to change up the team’s appearance, and Tampa Bay did a brilliant job with its new logo and helmet.

The Bucs went 4-12 last season and have the seventh overall selection in the 2014 NFL draft.
