Poor Micah Downs. The former Gonzaga standout has compiled lots of frequent flier miles since his heady days with the Bulldogs, trekking from Croatia to Belgium to Spain to keep his professional basketball career alive.

Most recently, Downs has found homes in the NBA Development League and the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague (which sounds awesome). He was even with the Boston Celtics for training camp before last season and played with Boston’s D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, after he was waived.

Downs, now a member of the D-League’s Erie BayHawks, was back in Portland, Maine, on Saturday — unfortunately for him.

Vitor Faverani, playing his third game with the Red Claws as part of his second D-League stint this season, turned Downs into a piece of scenery with a fastbreak dunk on Saturday. Faverani seemed to enjoy it, even posing for a moment while Downs retrieved the ball. The Red Claws won the game 108-103.

Check out Faverani highlight-reel dunk below.
