Zdeno Chara Towers Over 4-Foot-10 Figure Skater Kirsten Moore-Towers (Photo)

Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara is a very large man. At 6-foot-9, the B’s captain dwarfs nearly everyone in a league that is full of other very large men.

And if the tallest player in NHL history looks huge standing next to, say, 6-foot-4 Milan Lucic, he looks positively gargantuan standing next to one of Sochi’s shortest Olympians.

That would be 4-foot-10 Canadian figure skater Kirsten Moore-Towers, who snapped this excellent photo when she crossed paths with Chara, Slovakia’s hockey captain and flag bearer, at the Olympic complex.
