Avalanche’s Tyson Barrie Channels Bobby Orr After Impressive Goal (Video)

A defenseman, No. 4, flying through the air after stuffing home a goal just in front of the crease. We’re talking, of course, about Colorado Avalanche blueliner Tyson Barrie.

What, you had someone else in mind?

Barrie drew comparisons to the great Bobby Orr on Sunday when he beat Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Ben Bishop with a nifty backhander before going airborne thanks to a nice shove from Lightning center Tom Pyatt.

Barrie’s goal tied the game at 1-1 late in the first period (Pyatt had scored for Tampa Bay just 30 seconds earlier), and a four-goal explosion in the third propelled the Avs to a 6-3 victory.
