Opening Day has come and gone, and ballparks across America are working to enhance the game experience for fans. Management can renovate seating, increase fan interaction — or add a four-pound burger to their menu.

The days of standard ballpark food are dead and gone, replaced with indulgent choices that even the most adventurous of foodies might question. When it comes to unique food items, the Texas Rangers are destroying the competition. Fans heading to the newly named Globe Life Park this season will be able to enjoy brisket sausage, battered fries, frozen beer and bacon on a stick. They even have a new “Choomongous” Asian-infused sandwich named for their new outfielder, Shin-Soo Choo.

The four-pound burger can be found at Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays. The courageous fan looking to take on that monstrous meal can have it, as long as they are willing to shell out $30.

Pizza burgers, fried ice cream, hot dogs wrapped in chips — fans name it, ballparks have it. Baseball lovers young and old now will be able to create timeless memories at their home team’s ballpark over a shared bacon strip.
