Boston College was well-represented on the list of the top 10 finalists for the Hobey Baker Award announced Thursday.

Junior Johnny Gaudreau and senior Kevin Hayes both are among the finalists for hockey’s Heisman Trophy, with Gaudreau considered the odds-on favorite to win the award.

The two wingers have been an offensive force for the Eagles this season, teaming with senior center Bill Arnold to form the best top line in all of college hockey.

Gaudreau, a Calgary Flames prospect, leads the nation in goals (32) and points (69) and ranks second with 37 assists. Hayes, a Chicago Blackhawks draftee and Dorchester, Mass., native, isn’t far behind, racking up 24 goals and 32 helpers for a BC team that breezed through the regular season before being upset by Notre Dame in the Hockey East quarterfinals.

Rounding out the finalists are Josh Archibald (Nebraska-Omaha), Greg Carey (St. Lawrence), Nic Dowd (St. Cloud State), Ryan Dzingel (Ohio State), Shayne Gostisbehere (Union), CJ Motte (Ferris State), Joel Rumpel (Wisconsin) and Adam Wilcox (Minnesota).
