Bruins, Fans Raise Over $36K For Boston Firefighter Memorial Fund Through Ticket Raffle

The Boston Bruins and their fans raised more than $36,000 for the Boston Fire Department’s memorial fund through a ticket raffle.

Two tickets were auctioned for a game against the Chicago Blackhawks, with all proceeds going to the families of Lt. Edward Walsh and firefighter Michael Kennedy, who lost their lives while fighting a nine-alarm fire on Beacon Street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood two weeks ago.
