Alex RodriguezTalk show host and comedian Chelsea Handler is not a fan of suspended New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, and she’s not afraid to say it to his face.

Handler was a guest on “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday, and she described a chance encounter with Rodriguez.

Rodriguez approached Handler and asked, “Chelsea, why do you have to make fun of me all the time?”

Handler wasn’t shy and dismissed Rodriguez with: “Get away from me. You’re disgusting. You’re gross.”

“Why am I gross?” Rodriguez asked Handler, according to her account. “We got off on the wrong foot. I read all of your books. I’m a big fan.”

“I go, ‘I don’t know why you’re a big fan. I think you’re a (expletive) (expletive),'” Handler recounted to Stern.

Handler told Stern she doesn’t like the way Rodriguez conducts himself.

“He just sleeps around,” Handler said. “He is a pile of (expletive).”

That’s hardly a scientific argument, even when attacking a baseball star who’s known to be loose with the facts.
