It’s clear Bill Belichick isn’t one to hold a grudge.
Recently signed New England Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis called Belichick a “jerk” on ESPN two years ago. The two already have had a conversation about Revis’ unflattering remark, and now everything is copacetic between the cornerback and the coach.
“Me and Bill, we had a conversation about it, and it’s in the past,” Revis said. “We’re both moving forward, and we’re excited about working together and trying to win games. I think that’s the biggest goal here, is to win games.”
Revis officially signed with the Patriots on Monday. He said 26 teams were interested in his services.
Revis will replace Aqib Talib on the Patriots’ depth chart as the team’s No. 1 cornerback. Talib signed a six-year pact with the Denver Broncos last week.
