The NHL trade deadline passed Wednesday, and while plenty of star players changed teams, the biggest name rumored to be available stayed put.

Vancouver Canucks center Ryan Kesler, who reportedly requested a trade, was not dealt despite a number of teams expressing interest in acquiring him.

Two of Kesler’s Canucks teammates, goaltender Eddie Lack and defenseman Kevin Bieksa, are happy the veteran center will remain with the team for at least the rest of the 2013-14 season.

They displayed their feelings via Twitter.
