Opening weekend of the NCAA tournament, that’s what.

March Madness is the one time of year fans can cheer for a team named after a citrus fruit one minute and one named after a weather pattern the next, before changing the channel to watch a pack of dogs battle alligators.

We took a look at the tournament’s 68 mascots — all unique in their own ways — and narrowed down a list of our top 10. There were of course some unfortunate omissions (forgive us, Cayenne from Louisiana-Lafayette), but click the link below to see what we came up with.
