George H.W. Bush Attends Johnny Manziel’s Texas A&M Pro Day

Johnny Manziel wasn’t just throwing in front of NFL head coaches at his Texas A&M pro day Thursday. A former president also was watching the future first-round pick.

Former President George H.W. Bush and first lady Barbara Bush were in College Station, Texas, for Manziel’s pro day. Manziel spent time with the Bush family Wednesday night.

Manziel wore a helmet and shoulder pads while throwing. He connected with his receivers on his first 28 throws.

Head coaches watching included the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Gus Bradley, Philadelphia Eagles’ Chip Kelly, Minnesota Vikings’ Mike Zimmer, Houston Texans’ Bill O’Brien, Oakland Raiders’ Dennis Allen and Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Lovie Smith.
