Ever wonder how it feels to be hit by a major league fastball? Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis will tell you. Or, better yet, he’ll show you.

Kansas City Royals pitcher Jeremy Guthrie plunked Kipnis during the Indians’ 12-6 spring training win Thursday, leaving the infielder with a huge, red welt on his back. Kipnis decided to show his battle scar to the world, posting this photo on Twitter after the game.

Looks like Kipnis and Shane Victorino will have something to talk about the next time the Indians are in Boston.
