Julian EdelmanJulian Edelman is never shy to deflect a tough question.

Edelman had no problem discussing how “surreal” it was to be on the “Entourage” set on Wednesday, but when asked about his role in the movie, the New England Patriots receiver directed the question to Bill Belichick.

“You gotta ask coach Belichick on that,” Edelman said when asked if he’ll have a cameo in the Mark Wahlberg-produced film.

Edelman said he grew up watching Wahlberg’s “Entourage” TV series. Now he’s developed a relationship with the Patriots-fan movie star.

“It was an awesome experience,” Edelman said about being on set in Los Angeles. “Wahlberg has helped me out with a lot of that stuff. He’s always asked if I wanted to come and be around it. He’s been such a great friend when it comes to that stuff. It was definitely a fun experience to go out and watch these people go out there and do their work and compare it to how we do our work. It’s funny, they say it’s a lot of hurrying and a lot of waiting in that business and it was just kind of funny to see it all in front of you.”

Edelman was on the “Entourage” set with Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. Quarterback Tom Brady was also on set over the weekend.
