Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman and New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount engaged in a Twitter debate Wednesday night over who’s the best cornerback in the NFL.

To no one’s surprise, Sherman believes he’s the top player at the position. Blount believes his former Patriots teammate — new Denver Broncos signee Aqib Talib — is the class of the group.

Neither player would back down from his stance, so a neutral third party emerged to settle the debate. The folks over at EA Sports, the creators of the legendary “Madden NFL” video game franchise, tweeted a photo of the in-game player ratings of Sherman and Talib.

Talib’s overall rating of 88 seems a bit low for a player of his caliber. Maybe his durability rating brought down the overall score.
