Partnership Will Feature NESN’s Red Sox Broadcasters Wearing Joseph Abboud Suits During 2014 Season

March 28, 2014 – NESN, New England’s most watched sports network, has named Men’s Wearhouse the presenting sponsor of “Red Sox First Pitch” for the 2014 season. “Red Sox First Pitch” is the first of NESN’s two half-hour pre-game shows that precede every NESN televised Boston Red Sox game. As part of the partnership, NESN’s announcers, pre-game show host and analysts, will wear Joseph Abboud custom-made suits throughout the season. In addition to outfitting some of New England’s most popular announcers, Men’s Wearhouse and Joseph Abboud will receive branding on set and on air for 150 shows, commercial spots during “Red Sox First Pitch,” and promotional mentions during NESN’s Red Sox game coverage.

“NESN’s broadcasters wear top-notch attire and that will be very evident on-air thanks to Joseph Abboud and the Men’s Wearhouse team of experts,” said Joseph Maar, NESN’s Vice President of Programming & Production, Executive Producer. “We are very happy to partner with one of the largest and most respected specialty retailers of men’s apparel in the country, making our Red Sox broadcast team look better than ever.”

“I am very excited about our new partnership with NESN.” said Joseph Abboud, Chief Creative Director at Men’s Wearhouse. “With the All Star line-up of NESN on-air personalities wearing our suits I know this will be a championship season for all of us at Joseph Abboud and Men’s Wearhouse. On a personal note, bringing together two of my life’s great passions, the Boston Red Sox and the world of fashion, is a home run!”
