LeBron JamesWhen LeBron James voices a concern, the NBA springs to action — such as the case with the NBA’s divisive sleeved jerseys.

James has been a vocal critic of the new uniforms, even blaming them for one of the Heat’s recent losses. NBA commissioner Adam Silver now says he plans to meet with James to discuss the jerseys, according to Bleacher Report’s Howard Beck.

“Ultimately, if the players don’t like them, we’ll move on to something else,” Silver told Bleacher Report. “I don’t regret doing it for this season. But it’s intended to be something fun for the fans and the players. And if it becomes a serious issue, as to whether players should be wearing sleeves, we’ll likely move onto other things.”

James isn’t alone in his opinion of the jerseys, with Dirk Nowitzki, Kenyon Martin and Blake Griffin all voicing their displeasure at some point during the season.

Several players have said the short, tight sleeves affect their shooting form, but the NBA disputes that claim, citing statistics that show little difference in shooting percentages in games played with sleeved versus unsleeved jerseys, according to Beck.
