The New York Knicks introduced Phil Jackson as the president of basketball operations Tuesday, and the team wasted no time putting related merchandise on the shelves.
The official team store is already stocking T-shirt jerseys of Jackson’s No. 18, and the NBA’s online store offers a shirt featuring a caricature of vintage Jackson in a Knicks uniform. Jackson was a member of the Knicks’ championship-winning teams in 1970 and 1973, and New York hasn’t won a title since.
