Stars’, Blue Jackets’ Medical Staffs Named No. 1 Stars For Rich Peverley Aid

One of the main points of discussion in the wake of Rich Peverley’s collapse on the Dallas Stars’ bench Monday night was the excellent work done by the medical staffs of the Stars and Columbus Blue Jackets.

Both groups worked quickly to stabilize Peverley and move him into the tunnel, helping alleviate what was clearly a traumatizing experience for both teams (so much so that the game was suspended).

NHL Network tipped its cap to the behind-the-scenes workers, declaring both medical staffs the No. 1 stars of Monday night.
