Red Sox Order Stars And Stripes Blazer For President Obama (Photo)

When the Boston Red Sox go to the White House on Tuesday to celebrate their 2013 World Series championship, they will bring a special gift for President Barack Obama.

Red Sox outfielder Jonny Gomes ordered patriotic blazers for his teammates to wear, and he didn’t forget to have one made for the most powerful man in the world. The Red Sox will be the second Boston team to visit the White House during the Obama administration (the Boston Bruins, in 2011, were the other).

Check out the special American-themed blazer in the photos below.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
