The Boston Red Sox will honor the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings once again this Patriots’ Day.
The Red Sox will bring back their “Boston” home uniforms — the ones worn during the team’s first home game following the tragedy last April — for their game against the Baltimore Orioles on April 21, according to Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe.
In keeping with tradition, the game will begin at 11:05 a.m., shortly after the start of the 118th Boston Marathon.
The Red Sox defeated the Kansas City Royals in a classic while wearing the special jerseys last season. Daniel Nava’s three-run home run in the eighth inning proved to be the difference in the 4-3 Boston victory.
The Sox open their regular-season schedule Monday, March 31, in Baltimore.
