Boston Bruins rookie defenseman Kevan Miller sent Montreal Canadiens forwards Dale Weise and Travis Moen out of Monday night’s game with injuries. It appears Weise’s injury could linger.

TSN’s Aaron Ward reported Tuesday that Weise is believed to have suffered a wrist tendon injury when he was hit and will undergo more tests to see if it’s torn.

Miller seemed apologetic for sending Weise and Moen out of the game, and said he hopes both are OK.

“Yeah, I hope he’s all right — both those guys,” Miller said after the game. “To be honest with you about the hit, I felt bad about it. I just kind of bumped into him. I think he was a little off balance. I stood there just trying to make sure he was OK for a second, and Moen asked if I wanted to go. I just hope they’re both OK.”

The injuries put the Canadiens in somewhat of a jam, with center Lars Eller and forward Brandon Prust also out of the lineup heading into a week that includes a back-to-back set with the Buffalo Sabres.
