LeGarrette BlountThe Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly are taking a look at free-agent running back LeGarrette Blount.

Blount, who spent the 2013 season with the New England Patriots before hitting the open market, is scheduled to visit the Steelers on Sunday, league sources told Aaron Wilson of National Football Post.

The 27-year-old Oregon product played all 16 games for the Patriots last season, accumulating 772 yards and seven touchdowns.

Blount added another four touchdowns in the team’s divisional-round win over the Indianapolis Colts, rushing for 166 yards on 24 carries, but he was a non-factor in the AFC Championship Game, totaling just six yards on five carries in a loss to the Denver Broncos.

Wilson reports the Patriots remain interested in Blount and that “no deal is imminent at this time.”

The Steelers also brought former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew in for a visit earlier this week.
