LeGarrette BlountLeGarrette Blount will not be returning to New England for a second season.

The running back agreed Friday to terms on a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team announced.

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun quoted sources saying that the Patriots also had interest in bringing Blount back, but that “they didn’t approach the financial commitment of the Steelers.”

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that Blount’s deal is worth almost $4 million.
