The Redskins suffered through a dismal 3-13 season in 2013 and were looking to improve a secondary filled with question marks.
Clark, a 12-year veteran, could provide at least part of the answer. He spent two seasons from 2004-2005 as a strong safety in Washington before playing free safety for the Steelers from 2006-2013.
At 34 years old, Clark brings veteran ability and a high football IQ back to his former team. Over the course of his career in Pittsburgh, he accounted for 12 interceptions and 445 tackles.
