The New England Revolution open this season’s slate of home games Saturday afternoon when they face the Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Revs lost both Major League Soccer games they have played in 2014. They suffered a 4-0 defeat against the Houston Dynamo on March 8 and a 1-0 setback against the Philadelphia Union last Saturday. The Revs are hoping the familiar confines of Gillette Stadium will help them get their season on track.

Meanwhile, the Whitecaps top the Western Conference after earning a win and a draw in their first two games.

The Revolution-Whitecaps game kicks off at 2 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
