Of all the fields a fan can trespass on, a rugby pitch might be the worst choice.

One spectator decided to get an up-close view of the action during an Aviva Premiership game between Exeter and Gloucester over the weekend, and Gloucester flyhalf Freddie Burns responded by hit-sticking the unwanted visitor into the turf.

The guy really couldn’t have picked a worse time to grab his 15 seconds of fame. Gloucester had just surrendered a late try in a game they narrowly went on to win 14-13, and Burns & Co. were clearly not in the mood for any shenanigans.

The field invasion was a victory for everyone else, if only for the reason that it produced this incredible photo. Check it out below, with a hat tip to ESPN.co.uk.
