Roush Fenway Racing’s Ryan Reed stayed in the top-15 for the majority of the Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 presented by Lilly Diabetes on Saturday afternoon, but his late-race accident saw him fall to a 31st place finish.

“We had a top-15, and it was a solid top-15,” Reed said. “I don’t know what to do to catch a break. I’m definitely getting beat up out there, so I’ve got to figure something out.”

Reed maintained his 14th-place position until tight racing led to a race-ending accident for the No. 16 team on Lap 258.

RFR and the NASCAR Nationwide Series return to action March 22 at Auto Club Speedway in the Treatmyclot.com 300.
