Having retired last May, Sir Alex Ferguson has a lot of free time on his hands.
The 72-year-old former Manchester United manager checked another item off his bucket list Sunday when he attended the 2014 Oscars in Los Angeles.
Ferguson, a noted film buff, shared a few of his opinions on this year’s Academy Awards with the BBC, saying “12 Years a Slave” deserved to win best picture and Matthew McConaughey’s performance in “Dallas Buyers Club” merited the best performance by an actor in a leading role award.
Ferguson also told the BBC which big-screen star he most wanted to meet.
