Cordell Broadus is the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, but that isn’t the reason he has garnered national media attention.

Broadus recently told 247Sports that he has about 17 scholarship offers from different schools to play college football. He picked up an offer from the University of Miami on Saturday, but he said he’s very interested in both Southern California and UCLA. He also said he plans to make a trip to the East Coast to visit Florida State, Miami, LSU and Notre Dame.

Scout.com lists Broadus as a four-star wide receiver with “good hands and ball awareness,” but he also possesses an “elusiveness with catch.” He caught 60 passes for 685 yards during his junior year at Diamond Bar High School in California.

Check out the video below to see Broadus discuss his recruiting process.
