A former LaSalle University basketball player used some interesting defensive tactics during a recent women’s basketball game in Finland.
Shanel Harrison decided to go with an MMA defense instead of man-to-man defense when she laid a nasty sucker punch on her opponent on a fast break, knocking the woman off her feet.
Harrison’s team, Tapiolan Honka, announced on its website that Harrison’s contract has been terminated as a result of the incident.
