Highly respected TSN hockey insider Bob McKenzie recently polled 16 NHL head coaches to see how they would rank the top candidates for some of the end-of-the-year awards, including the Hart Trophy.

Four players from the Boston Bruins received consideration from the coaches.

Tuukka Rask was the top choice for the Vezina Trophy, which is awarded to the most outstanding goaltender. He leads the league in shutouts (seven) and even-strength save percentage (.944) and has posted a 35-15-6 record.

Bruins center Patrice Bergeron was the leading candidate for the Selke Trophy, an award given to the best defensive forward. Bergeron has scored 29 goals, leads the league in corsi-for percentage (a puck-possession stat) and has won the most faceoffs.
