Justin FlorekThe Boston Bruins have their first postseason practice Tuesday morning at TD Garden, and forward Justin Florek apparently will be with them.

The B’s recalled Florek on an emergency basis, the team announced. It’s the third call-up for Florek this season after he made his NHL debut against the Winnipeg Jets on Jan. 4. Florek also was recalled for the final game of the regular season Sunday in New Jersey.

Florek appeared in 69 games with the P-Bruins this season and had 19 goals and 19 assists.

It’s unclear at this point what Florek’s call-up means for the big club. Both Chris Kelly and Daniel Paille missed time down the stretch, and Florek would seem to be an insurance policy for either player. The Bruins still have time for Paille and Kelly to get healthy since their first-round playoff series against the Detroit Red Wings doesn’t begin until Friday night.
