Brooklyn Cyclones Think Their ‘Star Wars’ Jersey Is Minors’ Best (Photo)

“Hey everyone, come see how good I look!”

The Brooklyn Cyclones basically pulled a Ron Burgundy on Friday morning, unveiling their new “Star Wars”-themed jerseys while simultaneously chirping on Twitter those being worn by other minor league clubs this season.

The New York Mets’ Class-A affiliate would not have the last laugh, though. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, who will wear Darth Vader-inspired unis for a game in June, fired back with this zinger a few minutes later.

Boom. Roasted.

Here’s a front-and-back look at the Cyclones’ Darth Maul duds, which they’ll wear Aug. 2.
