Heading to the Brooklyn Cyclones game on July 5? You might want to dust off that puffy shirt.
The New York Mets’ Single-A affiliate will honor the 25th anniversary of the first-ever “Seinfeld” episode this summer by hosting a “Salute to Seinfeld” night at MCU Park in Brooklyn.
To kick things off, the Cyclones will temporarily rename the park Vandelay Industries Park in reference to the fictional company that George Costanza claims he works for in a job interview.
In an homage to the occupation of Jerry’s archrival Newman, the ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by any mailman who shows up to the park in full uniform.
To top it all off, the first 2,500 fans through the gates will receive a Keith Hernandez “Magic Loogie” bobblehead doll to commemorate a classic episode in which Kramer and Newman accuse Hernandez of spitting on them at a Mets game.

The clever promotion is a must-see for fans of the show, as the list of attractions also includes an airing of grievances, a game of “Risk” on the concourse and a low-talking PA announcer.
