Bruins’ Power Play Heating Up As Playoffs Near (Video)

The Boston Bruins have struggled to score on the power-play in recent playoff runs, but based on their success with the man advantage in 2013-14, we shouldn’t see them struggle in this facet of the game over the next few months.

Boston finished the regular season third in power-play percentage (21.1) and scored twice with the extra skater in Sunday’s 3-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils. The Bruins actually scored five power-play goals in their last five regular-season games.
