Bud Bash Homers Of The Week: David Ortiz Hits Clutch Three-Run Jack

It’s only the second week of the 2014 Major League Baseball season, but don’t tell that to David Ortiz and Jayson Werth, who both launched clutch home runs reminiscent of a late-October playoff game.

Big Papi smacked a three-run shot in the eighth inning to lift the Boston Red Sox to a 4-2 win over the Texas Rangers, and Werth crushed a grand slam over the left field wall in the eighth inning to put the Washington Nationals up by three runs en route to a 10-7 win over the Miami Marlins.

Check out the five Bud Bash Homers of the Week below, presented by the Budweiser Bash Bar located on Yawkey Way.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
