Chris Kelly, Daniel Paille Would Be Significant Losses For Bruins (Video)

When the Boston Bruins open the Stanley Cup playoffs Friday night against the Detroit Red Wings, they might do so without two of their most experienced forwards.

Third-line center Chris Kelly and fourth-liner Daniel Paille both are┬ánursing injuries and could sit out Game 1 against the Wings. Their absence would leave a void not only in the bottom-six forward group but also on the Bruins’ penalty-kill unit, on which both play a major role.

Andy Brickley joined “NESN Sports Today” on Thursday to break down what impact these injuries could have on the Bruins’ game plan. Check out what he had to say in the video above.
